If a team is the dirtiest in the league, their manager has got something to do with it.

I hate Ranieri's avuncular image - he's an Italian Revie.

Though it was a really good performance today and incredible that we lost the game.

I mean I'm anti Defoe, but in reality having a striker like him today probably would have meant a positive result.

Re: ⚽ Leicester v West Ham - Official Match Thread
The point has been made that even with nippy Defoe it still wouldn't be any good as we do too much sideways passing and don't get it forward enough for a player like him to run onto.

We are still a striker short of being a very decent team.

Anyway, don't worry on Monday after the transfer window has opened we'll be able to play all those world class players we've signed.

They were right about inconsistent refereeing because Leicester should have been down to 9.

Dirtiest team in the league.

Payet just going through the motions without putting himself out.

Obviously wants out and is trying to force Sullivan to cash in.

Cresswell is constantly berating Payet for the lack of tracking back and defensive cover. Arguably at fault for not helping stop the cross they scored their winner from.
It's not just this season, he didn't defend last season and I think Bilic is ok with it when he is playing well, creating things and scoring from set plays or open play.
He's gone right off the boil though. Poor set pieces, not beating a man to get a scoring chance and generally lacklustre.
It's a shame but maybe he just wants a move now. The guy is a match winner when he wants to be.

Happy New Year one and all - remember it's only football. *spits at the results on the telly.

Some of the comments I just read on the BBC are truely amazing, how about this, what is the matter with these morons:

Noble should have been sent off.
Had he changed his name to Vardy he may well have been.
Inconsistent refereeing once again.
Wet Spams recent revival is ended.
Spuds to lose tomorrow for a perfect New Year

Should have nicked a point in the end. Deserved it.
Still, we'll beat the mancs on Monday and get back on track.
COYI.

Frustrating game where we started too slowly.
Gave it a go but ultimately lacked the quality delivery apart from a couple of times where Antonio hit the bar and Carroll headed wide.
Antonio looked a spent force with 15 to go and needs a rest.

Re: ⚽ Leicester v West Ham - Official Match Thread
A draw would have been fair all round in the end, although Leicester were still getting away with some serious Neanderthal behaviour throughout the game.

What's with Payet..? No doubting the guy's ability, but you can see as time goes on why he has had a stop start career, and why he has fallen out of favour at International level along the way.

Something not quite right between Payet and Cressy, too..? WTF is THAT all about? Almost like Payet doesn't want to play Cressy in going forwards on the overlap (maybe in case the move breaks down and Dimi has to put his 'run back and defend' hat on..?).

AND we have the normally calm Noble and Ogbonna getting their panties in a serious twist on several occasions - misplaced passes and getting robbed of the ball, often when under no pressure at all. Becoming a habit with Nobes...

I've never ever watched any of the soaps. I've never really felt the need, as a WHU fan. What could possibly surpass us for excitement, misery, a sense of belonging, uncertainty, and that feeling in your guts that however good it gets, we will somehow manage to turn it into a bucket of ratshit... all the stuff we know and love, eh?

But it's the HOPE that is the real killer. I keep HOPING they will sort it out and 'get there' while I still draw breath... Fool that I am.

Happy New Year, all you sad bastards. xx

Terrible game of football, technically speaking. Both teams looked absolute shite, but it was entertaining apart from the result.

Liked the Viking's challenge too. Glad to see us give a little back against those dirty cunts.

Noble was far from great but Payet shocking. Fuck me !

I know it's a game of opinions but some people shouldn't be allowed them. Particularly your mum !

Re: ⚽ Leicester v West Ham - Official Match Thread
Payet was shocking today, big fish, little pond syndrome! Ayew not far off him, and Feg looked dangerous on the touchline but kept coming inside and losing possession.

Kouate was poor, but gets a pass, Noble far from great, luckily we have Obiang to come in.

Overall we were a threat when passing the ball, but shit with long balls that just waster possession.

Hot new year piss!

Slow starting and not clinical enough. Disappointing because on the balance of play we were easily worth a point at least.
